Since 2022, SMART sheet metal and Transportation Division leaders have gathered each year for our union’s Leadership Conference — an opportunity for SMART leaders to learn from one another, build solidarity and strategize to win for members in the months ahead. In 2026, that mission is more important than ever. In a time of rising prices, relentless attacks and governmental chaos in the United States, solidarity, togetherness and a strong sense of purpose will be critical to our union’s strength moving forward.
